The first day of April and the sun is shining. I've got that familiar feeling for the first time this year that Spring is here. This is my favourite time of the year. I love the Spring blossom on the trees on the roads that lead to my house... the pinks and whites against the blue hues of the sky are stunning and give me that warm feeling that soon it will be summer.
This picture reminds me of a place I used to visit when I was a little girl. I have some lovely memories of playing amongst the trees in and out of their shadows, the summer sun beating down.
