Anyway, on this occasion my previous attempts at guessing the key topics must have paid off as each of the key topics I spent time looking at came up! What a fluke! I had to answer five out of eight questions in the three and a quarter hour exam, and I managed four and a half all of which I feel I answered in enough detail to get a decent mark, so hopefully I have passed. I find out in about five months (I really don't understand why it takes that long to mark, but hey ho!)
In my post exam wisdom yesterday I kind of decided to try and take up running and do a half marathon in September. I know - I very brash decision for the non fit! However I have recently quit the cigs, and I used to be fairly athletic - all be it I hold a few more pounds than in my athletic and netballing days!Anyway, I have found a training website and have had a training plan drawn up and it appears feasible that a beginner with no fitness can train up to half marathon standard in four months, I may need to see it to believe it, but I'm willing to give it a go!
I do feel as though I need new trainers and a good running outfit (ha ha - any excuse to shop!), but I am really keen on doing this. I've applied for a place supporting my employees charity for the year, so I think if I get the place, it must be fate.
I do feel it would make my late Grandad very proud, so its definitely worth the try.
I'll keep you posted - off for my first training session now.
